Traffic Manager/Assistant Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Traffic Manager/Account Executive to join our account service team. The ideal candidate is an organized person who is deadline-driven, able to multi-task and stay on top of several different projects, skilled at managing priorities and directing workflow, maintaining to-do lists, scheduling, communicating, note-taking, proofreading, and file management.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Works with account service and bookkeeping to open work orders. Compiles and ensures all relevant details and background information needed to start and complete projects is available on Basecamp (project management tool) and/or in physical job jackets (i.e. budgets, timelines, client notes, creative briefs, samples, research, etc.).
  • Assists account service team by scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing Zoom links, call agendas/status reports, and relays information over to the team by taking and posting detailed notes and correspondence to Basecamp. Interacts with clients as needed.
  • Works with all departments to identify next steps, create internal project schedules, assign and adjust tasks and deadlines as needed.
  • Monitors project workflow for multiple brands via Basecamp and expedites crisis jobs. Routinely checks in with staff on project status/progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintains a master list of account service, graphics, social media, and web departments’ current and upcoming work and needs for weekly internal production meetings.
  • Supports production team through vendor/talent correspondence and scheduling. Proofreads collateral and assists with TV/photo shoots and recordings as needed.
  • Assists with administrative tasks and internal functions as needed.

Proficient in:

  • Basecamp
  • Google Suites

Bonus if you’re skilled in:

  • Adobe Suites

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
  • Ad agency experience is a plus
  • Previous public health experience is a plus

Content Strategist/Copywriter

We are seeking an experienced Content Strategist to join our website team. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller who is eager to make a difference by shaping creative, compelling messaging for a number of public health brands. Your portfolio reflects an exciting range of both long and short form copy.

You are a self-starter used to generating initial copy based on research and working as part of a creative team. Above all, you are a big-picture thinker who can translate audience research and client goals into engaging, actionable copy.

You have a keen ability to develop clear strategies, inspire behavior change, and motivate users to take action.

  • Strong copywriting skills backed by research
  • Applies strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, information architecture, and usability best practices to write clear, engaging, and targeted website content
  • Translates technical jargon and complex concepts into easy-to-comprehend information for the everyday user
  • Proactively reviews content and website metrics, activity, and feedback to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve user experience
  • Stays current with digital trends, tools, and practices and presents recommendations for ongoing overall website optimization
  • Collaborates with a creative director and a team of designers, developers, and digital staff on direction and execution of cohesive digital campaigns
  • Ensures content is compliant with website accessibility standards

Proficient in:

  • WordPress
  • Google Analytics

Bonus if you’re skilled in:

  • Front-end coding (HTML and CSS)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud platforms like InDesign, Illustrator, and Xd
  • Hotjar or related behavior analytics tools
  • User personas and journeys
  • Experience with broadcast TV & Radio scripting

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising
  • 3-5 years ad agency experience
  • Previous public health experience is a plus
